On A Quest rappresenta per A Safe Shelter la volontà di esprimersi liberamente, di creare musica senza vincoli ben precisi dettati da stili, generi o aspettative. Fare quel che ci si sente di fare, senza filtri né costrizioni. Questi 20 minuti di musica si mantengono in bilico tra ambient ed elettronica, facendo convivere al proprio interno droni e cassa dritta, vocal ipnotici e chitarre, percussioni elaborate e momenti più minimali.
Tutte le tracce di On A Quest sono state scritte, suonate, prodotte, registrate e mixate da A Safe Shelter (Simone Zagari), in camera sua, con un laptop, sintetizzatori analogici, chitarre, un microfono multitraccia per i field recordings e qualche vst. Luca Ferrari ha poi contribuito a perfezionare il mix e a mettere a punto il master.
